That's right. We are talking about practice. Everyone is excited and ready, not to mention a bit nervous. As coaches, we are reminding ourselves to take things a step at a time. This team is so talented and athletic, it's hard not to think ahead to some of the amazing things we are going to be able to do.
Practice is where teams are made, roles are earned and dreams start to become reality. As with anything worth working for, practice will be filled with ups and downs. Teammates are there to pick you up when you struggle, push you when you have more to give and celebrate with you when finally get it right.
I am blessed to be a part of this team and excited to jump into the fray and hang on for the ride!
